Giadom, Morka Celebrate Wike on Birthday, Hail Record of Service
JOEL OLADELE, Abuja

The National Vice Chairman (South-South) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Victor Giadom, and the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, have congratulated the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a courageous leader with an uncommon drive for development.
In a joint statement issued on Saturday, Giadom and Morka said they joined family members, associates and well-wishers to celebrate the former Governor of Rivers State for what they described as his audacious life of service to the nation.
They noted that Wike’s leadership has continued to inspire hope and progress in the South-South region and beyond, describing him as a special gift to the region whose impact resonates nationally.
Fondly referred to as “Mr. Project,” the APC leaders said Wike distinguished himself during his tenure as Governor of Rivers State through transformative investments in critical sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, housing and urban renewal, which they said significantly improved service delivery and governance outcomes.
The statement added that Wike has sustained the same performance as Minister of the FCT, citing massive and unprecedented infrastructural development, urban renewal initiatives and far-reaching administrative reforms.
According to them, these interventions include extensive road construction, rail rehabilitation, enhanced land administration and improved city management, which have helped restore Abuja’s status as a functional modern capital city.
Giadom and Morka further commended the minister’s contributions to the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, noting that his actions have advanced national development and delivered tangible benefits to citizens.
They wished Wike continued good health, strength and wisdom, expressing confidence that he would remain committed to purposeful service to the country in the years ahead.
