
Ododo Felicitates Christians at Christmas, Calls for Peace, Unity

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has extended Christmas greetings to Christians across the state, urging them to embrace peace, unity and the virtues exemplified by the birth of Jesus Christ.
In a goodwill message released through his Special Adviser on Media, Hon. Ismaila Isah, the governor described Christmas as a season that underscores selfless love, humility and service to humanity.
He noted that the nativity of Jesus Christ calls for patience, tolerance and goodwill, virtues he said are essential for harmonious coexistence and community development.
Governor Ododo said the enduring lessons of Christmas remain critical to the growth and stability of Kogi State, calling on residents to uphold brotherhood, restraint and a shared sense of responsibility in the collective pursuit of peace and progress.
According to him, his administration is guided by these values in delivering good governance, maintaining public order and promoting inclusive development aimed at improving the welfare of the people.
The governor reaffirmed his commitment to the security and well-being of residents, assuring that the government would continue to prioritise the protection of lives and livelihoods across the state.
He prayed that the joy of Christmas would fill every home, renew hope among Nigerians and usher in a New Year of peace, diligence and shared prosperity.
