Stefanie Kim Ladewig, the eight-month pregnant partner of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, has escaped injury after a three-vehicle collision in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The 26-year-old model underwent precautionary medical examinations following the accident but was discharged after doctors confirmed that she was in good condition, according to reports from Türkiye.
The crash occurred at about 3:10pm on Tuesday in the Mithatpasa neighbourhood of Kemerburgaz, within Istanbul’s Eyupsultan district.
According to the Demirören News Agency, Ladewig was driving a sports utility vehicle (SUV) when she entered a bend and collided with a light commercial vehicle driven by a man identified as Paris T.
The impact reportedly caused her to lose control of her vehicle, which then crashed into another SUV travelling in the opposite direction.
The collision damaged all three vehicles, although reports indicated that no one sustained injuries.
Given her advanced pregnancy, Ladewig visited a private hospital in the Maslak area of Istanbul’s Sariyer district for medical checks.
Doctors examined her as a precaution before discharging her in good condition, according to the reports.
Ladewig, who was born in Berlin, Germany, works as a model and shares fashion and beauty content on social media. She is the partner of Osimhen, who plays for Turkish club Galatasaray and represents Nigeria’s national team.
Osimhen remains one of Nigeria’s prominent footballers and has continued to attract attention through his performances for Galatasaray.
