Fire Outbreak: Foreign Affairs condoles with Canadian High Commission

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has extended its condolences to the Canadian High Commission in Abuja over the unfortunate fire incident that occurred in its premises on Monday, 6th November, 2023 leaving two persons, a contractor and a locally engaged staff of the Mission dead, with two others injured. 

This was contained in a statement signed on Tuesday by the Spokesperson of the ministry, Mrs. Francisca Omayuli.

In the statement, the ministry commiserated with the High Commissioner, Members of Staff of the Mission and the families of the deceased and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
