Christmas: Tinubu promises more relief packages to alleviate hardship

President Bola Tinubu had said that his administration will continue to implement more palliative measures to alleviate the hardship occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy.
He also pledged to place Nigeria on a path of “irreversible progress”.
“My administration will continue to implement palliative measures to ease the burden on the most vulnerable, address current hardships and alleviate the suffering of all our nation’s people,” Tinubu stated in his first Christmas message to Nigerians as President.
The President acknowledged that the past six months of his administration had been a time of relentless change in the country.
He said, “I am aware that the necessary reforms we are implementing to achieve a more prosperous, peaceful nation for all have imposed unique sacrifices.”
In the spirit of Christmas, Tinubu also urged Nigerians to extend the warm embrace of kindness to those around them who need it.
