JUST IN: Aiyedatiwa appoints Obe, Ajulo, others as Commissioners

Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has reappointed Rasaq Obe and Akinwumi Sowore into the State Executive Council.

Both Obe and Sowore were the commissioners who excused themselves from signing the vote of confidence memo on late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu during the political struggle in the State.

Chief Press Secretary to the Governor,Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan,

 in a statement on Friday, disclosed that the names of Obe and Sowore have been forwarded to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.

Other commissioner-nominees announced are: Mrs. Omowumi Isaac, ACCA

Mr. Olukayode A. Ajulo, SAN, OON

Pastor Emmanuel Igbasan

Mr. Oseni Oyeniyi

Meanwhile, the Governor has also appointed the following individuals as Special Advisers:

Hon. Olugbenga Omole, Special Adviser on Information & Strategy

Mrs. Olamide Falana, Special Adviser on Gender Affairs

Mr. Alabi Johnson, Special Adviser on Energy.
