Troops arrest terrorists’ kingpin in Niger Republic with N31million cash to purchase ammunition 

The Nigerian Military has reportedly arrested a notorious terrorist gunrunner identified as Ahmed Acharif with N31million in cash.

Phantom Eye, an intelligence and security source, with special interest on Lake Chad and North East Nigeria, which disclosed this in a short statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), revealed that the terrorist was arrested in Garin Dogo area of Niger Republic.

According to the statement, the cash was for the payment for arms and ammunition sold to terrorists in Arge, Lake Chad.

The intelligence group wrote: “Troops successfully apprehended notorious terrorist gunrunner Ahmed Acharif in Garin Dogo, Niger Republic, on February 12th, with 31 million Naira in cash.

“Reportedly, the cash was payment for arms and ammunition sold to terrorists in Arge, Lake Chad.”
