Idahosa is to replace Hon. Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama who was announced by the governorship candidate last week as his running mate. According to the Nation, it was learnt that Idahosa, an House of Representatives member, emerged on Sunday night after a prolonged meeting by stakeholders from Edo, the party leadership and Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Also in the meeting were the party’s flag bearer, Senator Monday Okpebholo, former Edo Governor, Senator Adams Oshiomole and Hon. Idahosa.
