Renowned fashion designer and founder of a fashion academy, Dr. Ifeoma Anyanwu, has advised Nigerian children to develop their talents and skills to avoid being stranded when their desired job is not available.
Speaking at a program organized by the Glowing Eagles Academy in Nasarawa State, Dr. Anyanwu shared her own story of how she became a fashion designer after initially dreaming of becoming a lawyer. According to her, she never gave up even when people doubted her, and today, she is ruling the world of fashion designing.
“I never underestimated myself, and I never gave up on my dreams. I believe that with hard work and determination, anyone can achieve their goals,” Anyanwu said.
She also emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship, urging the children to imbibe the spirit of starting their own businesses and not relying solely on white-collar jobs.

In his remarks, Igwe Ndigbo, Karu LGA, Dr. Igwe Ochendo, advised the children to prioritize obedience as the key to success. He said that some of the pupils are future leaders who will become Senators, Governors, and Rep. members if they obey their parents and school authorities.
The founder of Kings Impact Foundation, Dr. Kings Kayode, lamented leadership failure in Nigeria and called on parents to groom their children with the right values and principles to become future leaders. He emphasized that true leadership is about making an impact rather than just making income.
The proprietor of the Glowing Eagles Academy, Mrs. Doris Ebulu, presented awards to orphans and vulnerable children who excelled academically, as well as provided new uniforms and textbooks for high-flying students.
The event also featured a scholarship award presentation ceremony for out-of-school children within the community.

Overall, the program aimed to empower learners with knowledge, skills, and free education while promoting leadership values and entrepreneurship among Nigerian children.
