Nigeria Congratulates Kuwait on 64th Independence Anniversary

In a heartfelt message, the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, has congratulated the State of Kuwait on the joyous occasion of its 64th Independence Anniversary.
In a statement, released Tuesday, by the Acting Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa, highlights the enduring relationship between Nigeria and Kuwait.
Ambassador Tuggar’s message recognizes the significance of this milestone, stating, “This significant milestone is a testament to Kuwait’s resilience, progress, and commitment to peace and development.”
He emphasized the longstanding ties that bind the two nations, expressing appreciation for the “bonds of friendship between our two nations.”
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also highlighted the importance of bilateral cooperation between the two nations. “Nigeria and Kuwait share a long-standing relationship rooted in mutual respect, cooperation, and shared aspirations for global prosperity.” He reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening these ties in areas of mutual interest.
As Kuwait celebrates its independence, Nigeria commends the leadership and efforts of the Kuwaiti government to foster stability, economic growth, and regional cooperation.
The Minister therefore reiterated Nigeria’s solidarity with Kuwait, expressing hope for future collaboration, stating, “Nigeria stands in solidarity with Kuwait and looks forward to deepening our partnership for the benefit of our people and the broader international community.
“Once again, we congratulate the Government of the State of Kuwait on this historic occasion and wish its people continued peace, prosperity, and success in the years ahead.”
