Kogi First Lady’s Aide Distributes Sallah Support to 150 Beneficiaries

In a gesture of compassion and community solidarity, a dedicated aide to the Kogi State First Lady, Aliu Ohunnene Nana, has distributed festive support tokens to 150 individuals across Okeneba, Agassa, and Ahache axis to assist them in celebrating the Sallah festivities.

The humanitarian initiative, which reflects the First Lady’s commitment to supporting vulnerable members of the community during religious celebrations, was warmly received by beneficiaries across the three distinct. The distribution exercise aimed to ensure that less privileged families could participate meaningfully in the Eid celebrations despite economic challenges.

Speaking during the distribution exercise, Nana emphasized the importance of unity and sharing during religious festivities, noting that the gesture aligns with the Islamic principles of charity and communal support. The aide expressed gratitude to the First Lady for her continued dedication to the welfare of Kogi State residents.

Beneficiaries across the three axis expressed their appreciation for the timely intervention, with many describing the support as a blessing that would enable them to celebrate Sallah with dignity alongside their families and neighbors.

This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts by the First Lady’s office to reach out to communities across Kogi State, particularly during significant religious and cultural celebrations.
