A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee and former Majority Leader of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Aare (Hon.) Durotolu Oyebode Bankole, has congratulated the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and the good people of the state on the historic commencement of commercial flight operations from the Gateway International Airport, Iperu, describing it as “a landmark achievement and a proud moment for Ogun, Nigeria, and the world.”

In a goodwill message personally signed by him, Aare Bankole lauded Governor Abiodun’s visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to infrastructural development, saying the takeoff of ValueJet’s inaugural commercial flight marks the dawn of a new era in Ogun’s journey towards becoming an aviation and industrial hub.

“This is not just the launch of a flight route, it is the flight of a vision fulfilled. Governor Abiodun’s steadfast pursuit of excellence has turned what was once a dream into a symbol of progress, connecting Ogun directly to the nation’s capital and positioning our dear state as a beacon of modern development,” Aare Bankole stated.

He further applauded the choice of ValueJet, Nigeria’s innovative and fast-growing airline, as the pioneer operator from the Gateway International Airport, noting that its flexible fare system aligns with the Governor’s inclusive economic vision of making opportunities accessible to all.

Aare Bankole described the Gateway International Airport as a model of modern aviation infrastructure and a strategic investment that places Ogun State ahead of its peers.
