Kogi Releases Ododo’s Two-Year Scorecard in Lugard House Newsletter

The Kogi State Government has released a summary of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s performance over his first two years in office.
The report was published in the 8th edition of the Lugard House Monthly Newsletter, a publication of the Office of the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor.
Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, described the publication as a timely review of the administration’s achievements and direction. He said the edition opens the year with a comprehensive account of progress recorded across major sectors of the state.
According to him, the newsletter captures the Governor’s leadership journey, highlighting policy implementation, institutional strengthening and measurable outcomes in infrastructure, healthcare, education, security, economic management and governance reforms.
He explained that the publication presents governance through evidence, detailing projects executed, reforms sustained and systems strengthened in the last two years.
“It lays out the journey in clear, sharp perspectives of projects started, work completed and systems that define leadership in a state buoyed by renewed hope; marked by roads connecting communities, public buildings breeding efficiency in governance, health facilities promoting wellbeing and schools shaping the future of generations,” Isah said.
The Special Adviser also emphasized the importance of collaboration in governance. He noted that the Office of the Kogi State First Lady featured prominently in the report for its social intervention programmes, which have complemented government policies and supported women, children and vulnerable groups across the state.
Hon. Isah added that the first edition of the newsletter for the new year serves both as a record of achievements and a signal of continuity.
He said the publication reflects Governor Ododo’s commitment to transparency and accountability, stressing that keeping citizens informed remains a key part of the administration’s mandate as it moves into the next phase of governance.
