US Warplanes Crash in Kuwait as Regional Crisis Intensifies

Kuwait’s Ministry of Defence has confirmed that several United States warplanes crashed within its territory amid the ongoing hostilities between Washington and Tehran.
In a brief statement, the ministry said all crew members aboard the aircraft survived the incidents and that Kuwaiti authorities were supporting rescue and recovery operations.
It did not specify how many aircraft were involved or provide details on the circumstances surrounding the crashes.
Regional broadcaster Al Jazeera reported that video footage aired on its platform showed at least one fighter jet going down. While the precise cause of the crashes remains unclear, the developments come as fighting between the United States and Iran continues to escalate across the Middle East.
Kuwait has been among several Gulf states affected by Iranian missile strikes targeting US bases and facilities in the region. Other countries that have reported impacts from the widening confrontation include Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
The United States has confirmed that three of its soldiers were killed in recent attacks, with at least five others sustaining serious injuries.
Casualty figures have also mounted elsewhere. Iranian authorities say more than 300 people have been killed in strikes carried out by US and Israeli forces, while Israel has confirmed at least 10 deaths following Iranian missile fire.
The conflict erupted over the weekend after coordinated strikes by the United States and Israel on Iranian targets. Since then, both sides have exchanged missile and air attacks, with Iran firing projectiles at Israeli territory and US-linked installations across the region.
The situation has heightened fears of a broader regional war, as countries hosting US military assets brace for further fallout from the intensifying confrontation.
