SDP Chairmen’s Forum Hails Gombe, Unveils New Executives

The Forum of State Chairmen of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), led by Hon. Femi Olaniyi Ferrari, has congratulated the party’s National Chairman, Prof. Sodiq Abubakar Gombe, on his new role and the opportunity to lead the party.

The forum, in a statement released and signed by its Secretary, Idris Adamu, said Prof. Gombe’s confirmation by the party’s National Executive Council reflects the broad confidence and support he enjoys across the party.

The chairmen also commended members of the National Working Committee for their resilience and dedication, noting that their efforts have helped elevate the SDP to its present status.

They further expressed appreciation to party leaders and stakeholders, including the party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 Nigerian presidential election, Adewole Adebayo, for his moral and financial support, which they described as invaluable to the party’s growth and progress.

The forum equally congratulated the newly confirmed state chairmen and prayed that God would grant them wisdom to effectively lead the party in their respective states.

In addition, the forum extended congratulations to members inaugurated as executives of the SDP Chairmen’s Forum. The officers include: Hon. Femi Olaniyi Ferrari as Chairman of Chairmen (COC); Abba Modu as Deputy Chairman (Northern Region); Hon. Okunlade Michael as Deputy Chairman (Southern Region); Mr. Adamu Idris as Secretary; Mr. Idoko Itodo as Assistant Secretary; Mr. Kingsley Obina Agbo as Treasurer; Mr. Allen Amadien as Publicity Secretary; Barrister Yerima Yakubu as Legal Adviser; and Mr. Willington Odiong as Ex-Officio.

The forum wished the newly inaugurated executives a successful tenure in office.
It also called on members of the party nationwide to intensify sensitisation efforts, stressing that Nigerians now have a credible alternative in the SDP.

According to the forum, the party remains stable, united and committed to implementing a reliable manifesto capable of driving the desired progress and transformation of the nation.
