APC Convention: Tolu Bankole Commends Gov Abiodun for Flawless Venue Coordination

A member of the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Aare Tolu Bankole, has hailed Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, for what he described as the exceptional handling of the venue for the party’s just concluded national convention.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Bankole said the convention stood out as a benchmark in party organisation, coordination, and effective management, stressing that the quality of arrangements at the venue played a major role in its success.

He particularly commended Abiodun’s role, describing his performance as “a masterclass in planning, execution, and attention to detail.”

According to him, “the seamless coordination, structural excellence, and operational efficiency witnessed at the venue reflected a rare level of competence and dedication.”

Bankole aligned with remarks by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who had earlier acknowledged the Ogun governor’s contribution, stating: “I also wish to recognise Governor Dapo Abiodun, Chairman of the APC National Convention Venue Sub-Committee, for his remarkable commitment, including the funding and delivery of the venue setup.”

He added that Abiodun’s outing at the convention reinforces his standing as one of the very best in event coordination and organisational leadership.

The APC chieftain also expressed appreciation to party leaders and delegates, noting that the exercise showcased the unity, discipline, and organisational capacity of the APC, while reaffirming the party’s position as a leading political force in the country.

He said, “special commendation is therefore reserved for the Executive Governor of Ogun State, whose dedication, hard work, and effective oversight ensured the smooth coordination and success of the convention venue and activities.”

Bankole further thanked engineers, organisers, ushers and members of the media for their professionalism, describing their contributions as critical to delivering a seamless exercise.

He congratulated newly elected party officials and urged them to build on the gains of the convention and strengthen internal party cohesion, while calling on members across the country to intensify mobilisation efforts ahead of forthcoming elections.

The APC PWD leader also stressed the need for credible internal processes, noting that “rancour-free primaries remain essential,” and that unity, transparency and fairness must guide the party’s activities.

Reaffirming his commitment to inclusion, Bankole pledged to deepen the participation of Persons With Disabilities within the party, ensuring their voices remain integral to its growth and national development.
