Aiyedatiwa to Receive Tompolo, Inaugurate PBAT Door-to-Door Movement in Ondo

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, will on Tuesday receive High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, as the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement inaugurates its state structure.

The event will also feature the distribution of campaign vehicles and materials ahead of President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.

The programme is scheduled for Democracy Park, Akure, at noon on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.

The Southwest Coordinator of the movement, Orisamoluwa Adekunle, disclosed this in a statement inviting All Progressives Congress members, party leaders and supporters to the event.

Adekunle said the inauguration would strengthen the movement’s grassroots mobilisation across the state ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

He said the group would use the new structure to deepen contact with residents and promote the Tinubu administration’s policies and achievements.

According to him, the campaign vehicles and materials would help the movement extend its mobilisation efforts to communities across Ondo State.

Adekunle added that direct engagement with voters would remain central to the group’s strategy as the election approaches.

He said the event would bring together party leaders and grassroots mobilisers to map out strategies for expanding the movement and coordinating its activities.

The planned reception for Tompolo is also expected to highlight cooperation among political stakeholders supporting the PBAT Movement and Tinubu’s re-election bid.

Adekunle described the inauguration as a demonstration of the movement’s commitment to Tinubu’s vision of a prosperous and united Nigeria.

He urged APC members and supporters of the President to attend the programme and demonstrate their backing for the 2027 campaign.

Adekunle said the movement would continue to work towards stronger grassroots participation and wider voter engagement across the state.
