Nigeria congratulates Angola on National Day

Nigeria’s Honourable Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, has conveyed warm congratulations to His Excellency Téte António, the Minister of External Relations of Angola, on the occasion of Angola’s National Day.
The statement signed on Monday by the Spokesperson of the Ministry, Amb. Eche Abu-Obe, expressed deep appreciation for the longstanding and highly regarded relations between Nigeria and Angola, emphasizing a commitment to further strengthening these ties for the benefit of both nations.
“I extend our warmest wishes to you, the government, and the people of Angola on the auspicious occasion of your National Day,” Tuggar stated, highlighting the importance of diplomatic relations in fostering peace and development.
The Nigerian government reaffirmed its support for Angola and its people, wishing them continued peace, prosperity, and progress as they celebrate this significant day in their national history.
The relations between Nigeria and Angola have flourished over the years, with both nations cooperating in various sectors including trade, security, and cultural exchange.
Angola gained independence in November, 1975 from Portuguese colony that lasted for almost 400 years.
