The National Leader of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Aare Tolu Bankole, has extended warm greetings to all Muslim faithful across Nigeria and beyond on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.

In a statement released in Abuja, on Friday, Aare Bankole described Eid-el-Kabir as a sacred season that calls for deep reflection on the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, and compassion, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).

“Eid-el-Kabir is not just a festival of celebration, but a solemn reminder of the value of total submission to God’s will and the enduring power of faith. As we mark this important event, I urge all Muslims and Nigerians at large to embrace these values, especially during this challenging yet hopeful time in our national life,” he said.

The APC National Leader for PWDs emphasized the need for unity, mutual respect, and empathy, calling on citizens to show kindness to the less privileged, including persons with disabilities, orphans, widows, and other vulnerable groups.

“Our collective strength as a nation lies in how we care for the most vulnerable among us. I call on all Nigerians to promote inclusion, lend support to one another, and build bridges of understanding across ethnic, religious, and social divides,” he added.

He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for the ongoing reforms aimed at reviving the economy and securing the nation, and urged Nigerians to support the government with prayers, patience, and constructive engagement.

“Let this season renew our hope in a better Nigeria — a nation where no one is left behind, and where every citizen, including persons with disabilities, can live with dignity, purpose, and pride,” Aare Bankole concluded.

He therefore prayed for peaceful celebrations, divine protection, and prosperity for all Nigerians and wished the Muslim Ummah a blessed and impactful Eid.
