Trump Vows to Push Iran ‘Back to Stone Age’ in Weeks

United States President Donald Trump has warned that Iran could face overwhelming military action in the coming weeks, declaring that American forces are poised to inflict severe damage as the conflict intensifies.

Speaking from the White House on Wednesday night, Trump said the United States was closing in on its objectives in the ongoing war involving Israel, insisting that operations would continue until those goals are fully achieved.

“I’ve made clear from the beginning of Operation Epic Fury that we will continue until our objectives are fully achieved,” he said.

“Thanks to the progress we’ve made, I can say tonight that we are on track to complete all of America’s military objectives shortly, very shortly.”

The president struck a combative tone, warning that the next phase of the campaign would be decisive.

“We’re going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks. We’re going to bring them back to the Stone Ages,” Trump said.

The conflict, now stretching beyond a month, has resulted in casualties across parts of the Middle East and heightened global anxiety, particularly over energy supplies.

Tensions escalated further after Iran reportedly shut the Strait of Hormuz, a critical route for global oil shipments, triggering fears of a wider energy crisis and disruptions to international markets.

Despite the strong rhetoric, diplomatic contacts appear to be ongoing. Trump disclosed that negotiations between Washington and Tehran have resumed, though both sides remain far apart on key issues.

According to him, the United States had presented a 15-point proposal, which was rejected by Iranian authorities, who responded with a separate set of conditions.

Analysts say the latest remarks underscore a hardening stance from Washington, even as the international community continues to call for restraint to prevent further escalation in a conflict that threatens regional stability.
