The Tinubu Mega Group (TMG) has approved a N1 billion campaign support fund for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid as part of resolutions reached at its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The meeting, which brought together NEC members, state coordinators, zonal leaders and representatives of the group’s diaspora chapters, also endorsed a nationwide mobilisation strategy aimed at deepening support for the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting on Monday, the council commended President Tinubu’s administration for what it described as bold reforms and strategic interventions designed to reposition the economy, improve infrastructure, attract investment and drive national development.
A major outcome of the gathering was the approval of a comprehensive framework to support the President’s re-election campaign ahead of the 2027 polls.
“As part of its commitment to the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign in 2027, the Tinubu Mega Group resolved to contribute the sum of N1 billion towards campaign activities and nationwide mobilisation efforts,” the organisation stated.
TMG said the decision reflected the confidence of its members in the President’s leadership and achievements since assuming office.
The group disclosed that consultations and fundraising activities had already commenced across its structures in the 36 states, the Federal Capital Territory, the six geopolitical zones and its diaspora chapters.
It noted that contributions from members, supporters, stakeholders and partner organisations were already being received, expressing confidence that the N1 billion target would be met before the commencement of the official campaign season.
The NEC also approved the commencement of Tinubu Town Hall Meetings across Nigeria and in key international locations, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Asia and Europe.
According to the group, the initiative is intended to engage Nigerians at home and abroad, highlight the achievements of the Renewed Hope Agenda and encourage greater citizen participation in governance and national development.
Council members expressed appreciation to supporters who have continued to provide financial and logistical backing to the organisation.
The group particularly acknowledged members who donated office accommodation in more than 20 states, as well as others who provided vehicles and logistics support for its operations.
TMG further appealed to business leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs and development partners to support its activities through financial contributions, infrastructure support and sponsorship of programmes.
The council also confirmed that its highest honour, the Grand Commander of the Tinubu Mega Group (GCTMG), would be conferred on Dr. Azonabor Osade Eronmose on June 26 in recognition of what it described as his contributions to philanthropy, humanitarian causes and national development.
The organisation expressed confidence that the resolutions adopted in Port Harcourt would strengthen its structures across Nigeria and the diaspora while advancing national unity, continuity and sustainable development.
