FG announces job vacancy at the West African Health Organization.

The Federal Government through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has  informed eligible Nigerians of job opportunities at the West African Health Organization (WAHO), a Specialized Agency of ECOWAS, headquartered in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso.

In a statement signed by the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Francisca Omayuli on Friday, she noted that the agency is in the process of recruiting fifteen Financial Managers, one for each ECOWAS Member Country. 

The statement partly read: “WAHO’s mission is to offer the highest level of health care services to the populations of the sub-region, based on the harmonization of Member States policies and pooling of resources. 

“The recruited Financial Managers will each sit on the Steering Committee responsible for disbursing the financial resources made available to countries of WAHO, on the basis of the effective implementation of the health activities financed.

“For more information on the advertised position and application processes, interested persons are invited to visit the career portal of WAHO: https://data.wahooas.org/tenders/tenders/list.”

She added that the deadline for submission of application is 18th September, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. UTC.
