Fubara meets Tinubu in Villa, declines comments

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, yesterday, met with President Bola Tinubu in Abuja.
He, however, declined comments when he left the President’s office and made to exit the seat of government at about 6:40pm.
The governor had arrived the Presidential Villa at about 5:35pm and proceeded straight to the President’s office.
The last time he visited the Villa, Fubara was with a large delegation of loyalists and other stakeholders from Rivers State.
The occasion was the peace meeting brokered by the President to resolve the lingering feud with his estranged political godfather and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.
Although the agenda of his visit was not made public, National Periscope learnt it may not be unconnected with the feud between the governor and the FCT minister over control of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) structure in the state.
The governor resisted prodding from reporters, as he departed without comments.
