Death threat: AY Makun’s wife cries out for help

Mabel, the wife of AY Makun, the Nigerian comedian, has cried out over an alleged threat to her life.

The entrepreneur took to her Instagram page on Thursday evening to claim that someone is after her life.

Although she did not mention names, Mabel said should anything happen to her, “there is one person to be held responsible”.

The mother of two also said she was heading to the police station to report the matter.

“The threat to my life is actually getting out of hand and if anything happens to me, there is just one person to be held responsible. Headed to the police station,” she wrote.

But in another post, the interior designer said she has been abused mentally for way too long.

“Been abused mentally and all round for way too long and I have had enough,” she added.

Last April, Mabel had aimed a dig at critics in the wake of her husband’s years-long rift with Basketmouth, another comedian.

“I realized a long time ago that wizards do not only gather at night but during the day as well. They will call it pride but protect your space,” she wrote.

“It’s not going the way they gathered and planned it. They are frustrated, they can’t hide it anymore.”
