Deputy Commissioner of Police reportedly hangs self in Oyo

A Deputy Commissioner for Police has reportedly committed suicide in Ogbomosho, an area of Oyo state.
According to report by MOUTHPIECE NGR, the deceased, who was identified as DCP Gbolahan Oyedemi by a neighbour, was said to have returned home for Easter.
His death was discovered in the house on Monday afternoon; however, it is still unknown who found the body.
Our correspondent gathered that he lived alone in the House and that there was no hint whether he was married.
According to Mouthpiece NGR, the deceased house is at Petros Academy Street, Federal Lowcost area in Ogbomoso, the police had already cordoned off the area, although groups of supporters were seen, whispering quietly about the situation.
“Sometimes he came home with police security, in fact l saw him recently driving personally into his beautiful mansion.”
It was learnt that late Oyedemi, aged 50, was Aide de Camp to late Adebayo Alao-Akala during his eleven month tenure as governor (January to December 2006).
