Ondo election: I’m the best APC can put forward -Ehinlanwo

Joel Oladele, Abuja

Ahead of the next Saturday governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Ondo State, one of the aspirants, Dr. Olusoji Ehinlanwo has described himself as the best to fly the flag of the party.

Ehinlanwo stated this in Abuja, while addressing Newsmen after the statutory screening exercise at the APC National Secretariat, on Friday.

He noted that he’s the choice of the masses and has the pedigree to not only transform the party positively but also the state.

“I think the screening went quite well. Honestly I presented my credentials, my pedigree. Like I said yesterday at an interview on TVC, I remain the tallest among all of the aspirants. I have got very big ideas. I am seen as the candidate of the masses, as an aspirant of the youths. “These are the very important segments within our state. I’ve got enough  to offer. I think I can bring our party together, take it to victory and make a remarkable performance for our state. We need to take our state to a very very remarkable light. To me the best option is putting me forward as the candidate of the party,” he said.

Asked if he’s threatened by the credentials of other aspirants, Ehinlanwo said; “Certainly not. I said it yesterday as well that yes the APC has done well so far but it’s important for the APC to put it’s best forward. It is important for our state but we have the best amongst a lot – somebody who has the pedigree, vision and the credibility to take our state to a very remarkable height.

“For me, I’m the best to unite the party, able to lead our party to victory and importantly for all people of Ondo state, make our state a reference point for good governance and that’s what I wanted to achieve.

“What I am saying is that very clearly, I represent the best material to take our State to incredible height. I represent the best material for our party if it is desirous of putting it’s best foot forward.”
