Isatong Group congratulates Imafidon family for producing world youngest University Chancellor

A leading provider of Enterprise Artificial Intelligence solutions, Isatong Group, has proudly congratulated the Imafidon family for producing the world youngest ever University Chancellor-Dr. Anne-Marie Imafidon.

According to a statement by the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of the group, Engr. Isaac Udotong, the installation ceremony of Dr. Imafidon as the Chancellor of Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU), United Kingdom, which took place on July 2 was a well deserved feat.

Engr Udotong, who was one of the VIP guests at the ceremony in Glasgow, expressed his heartfelt congratulations, stating, “We are absolutely thrilled for Dr. Imafidon and recognize the immense honor bestowed upon her. We at Isatong have long admired her remarkable achievements. 

“From her exceptional talent in computer science at a young age to her dedication to promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education through Stemettes, she has consistently broken barriers and inspired countless individuals, particularly young women and disadvantaged people, to pursue their passions in science and technology. 

“Her leadership and unwavering commitment to diversity in STEM fields is truly commendable.”

Dr Imafidon, 33, replaced Dr Annie Lennox OBE, who stepped down last year.

She was the youngest girl to pass A-level computing, aged just 11 at the time.

By the time she was 20, she had already earned her Master’s degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of Oxford.

Dr Imafidon was made an MBE in 2017 for her services to young women and the STEM.

Udotong, who also attended a Wembley concert to honour the family by the multi award winning singer, SINACH, prayed for Imafidon’s success and impactful tenure and expressed optimism in her ability.

The CEO of Isatong Group also met other graduates of the Excellenceineducation.org.uk programme which mentored Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon and other record breaking students.
