Fafore bags Doctorate Degree from American University, pledges youth, girl child empowerment

A renowned leader and visionary,  Dr. Nihnilola Mary Fafore, was recently conferred with a Doctorate Degree from the American Management University at the Visionary Leadership Conference 2024 in Abuja.

The ceremony, held at the National Centre for Women Development, was attended by dignitaries and professionals from various fields.

In recognition of her global contribution to leadership development, Dr, Fafore, who is the
Deputy Director Huawei Nigeria, was also given an award in Business Management and Leadership.

In her remarks, she expressed her gratitude to God for the recognition and thanked her colleagues and supporters for their collaboration and encouragement over the years. “I’m really grateful to God and the people who have supported me so far. This is a great achievement, and I’m looking forward to expanding our reach globally,” she said.

She emphasized that leadership is about humanity, and it’s essential to recognize that people are not aware of their potential and need guidance. “Leadership is about sharing, helping people out, and empowering them to fulfill their purpose on earth,” she said.

The doctorate recipient highlighted the importance of collaboration and support in achieving one’s vision. “When you have a vision, you know where you’re going, but you can’t get there alone. People need support, clarity, and direction to achieve their goals,” she said.

Fafore also spoke about her commitment to empowering youth and girl child, saying that everyone has a purpose on earth and it’s essential to enable them to fulfill their dreams. “We cannot continue to segregate people based on gender or any other factor. Everyone is important, and it’s a world for everybody,” she said.

The conferment of the doctorate degree marks a significant milestone in Dr. Fafore Mary’s career, which spans almost two decades. She has worked extensively in various learning platforms, gathering knowledge and experiences that have shaped her vision for leadership.

As she receives this prestigious honor, Dr. Fafore is poised to continue her work in empowering youth and promoting leadership development. “I’m excited about this new chapter in my life, and I look forward to transferring my knowledge and skills to others,” she said.
