Northeast APC Stakeholders Forum passes vote of confidence on Tinubu

JOEL OLADELE, Abuja 

The Northeast APC Stakeholders Forum, has acknowledged the significant achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, declaring the Forum’s unwavering support through a resounding vote of confidence.

The Chairman of the Forum, Comrade Haruna Sardauna, announced this during a world press conference held at the APC National Secretariat on Thursday.

In his address, Sardauna celebrated various initiatives aimed at transforming Nigeria, particularly in education, infrastructure, energy, agriculture, security, and economic reforms. 

“We stand before you today to celebrate the remarkable achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration,” he stated, outlining the administration’s committed efforts.

Highlighting the introduction of the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (Nelfund) and a new Students Loan program, Sardauna applauded their impact on increasing access to education. He emphasized the president’s pledge of N100 billion to the Youth Trust Fund and initiatives such as the Skill Up Artisan program, which aims to upskill five million youths. 

“The renewed hope agenda targets 10 million out-of-school children and reforming the Almajiri education system,” Sardauna noted.

Discussing infrastructure improvements, he mentioned the establishment of the Southeast and Northwest Development Commissions aimed at bridging regional disparities. 

“President Tinubu has also championed local government autonomy to empower grassroots development,” he added.

He also lauded the achievements of the administration in agriculture and security.

“To tackle food security, the administration declared a state of emergency and launched the National Agricultural Development Fund with N100 billion. Initiatives like the Dry Season Farming Initiative and the Green Imperative Program aim to promote year-round farming and provide farmers with access to modern equipment and low-interest loans, ensuring a stable food supply and distribution of 2.15 million bags of fertilizer and other farm inputs to farmers and Create New ministry of livestock.

“Tinubu Administration Rescue 386 persons from Sambisa Forest after 10 years of abduction by Boko Haram insurgents in the Northeast, and he cleared Kidnappers terrorizing Kaduna to Abuja expressway and

neutralized the Armed Bandit leaders Halilu Sububu with more than his 3000 followers in Zamfara, Sokoto, Katsina, and Kebbi state.

Sardauna made an impassioned plea for unity in supporting the Tinubu administration. “Despite the challenges, I assure you, there will be a better Nigeria. Let’s persevere and support the Tinubu administration to succeed,” he urged. 

The Forum therefore unanimously passed a vote of confidence on President Tinubu, reaffirming their dedication to advocating for his initiatives and vision aimed at taking Nigeria to greater heights.

“The enemies and saboteurs of this administration will not succeed,” he prayed.
