Corps Member In Tears as Teacher Beats Her Up For ‘Not Greeting Properly’ (Photos)

Drama unfolded at a Government Day Junior Secondary School, Kulende, Ilorin, the capital city of Kwara State, when a teacher allegedly assaulted a youth corps member for “not greeting properly” after she visited the school to request her clearance letter.

The incident, which has gone viral on the popular social media platform X (formerly Twitter), was captured in a post showing the corps member with her clothing slightly torn, presumably from the scuffle.

According to the post, the corps member had gone to her Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) to collect her clearance letter when the teacher reportedly attacked her over what was deemed improper greeting.

Reactions have since trailed the development. While many condemned the action of the teacher, others believe courtesy and friendliness would have saved the lady the embarrassment.

“Haba why tear her bra strap na… Sorry to her.. It’s good to be warm and friendly or at least courteous and polite especially when they may have power over you. It prevents such issues. Pride goes before a fall,” a netizen commented.

“Africans and mob mentality. Whoever did that shit did it because the corner was in a weak position to defend herself,” another person said.
