The Anambra Labour Party Stakeholders have declared Senator Tony Nwoye as the only leader capable of salvaging Anambra State from its current state of maladministration.

Speaking at a press conference on Thursday in Abuja, the Convener of the Anambra Labour Party Stakeholders, Ozo Nkem Okoye, said this endorsement comes after extensive consultations and deliberations among stakeholders.

Mr. Okoye said Senator Nwoye’s track record of selfless service, grassroots engagement, and unwavering commitment to the people makes him the most suitable candidate for the 2025 governorship election.

“At a time when Anambra State is in dire need of visionary leadership, Tony Nwoye stands out as the only man with the experience, courage, and passion to lead a government that prioritizes development, good governance, and the welfare of the people.

“Senator Nwoye’s deep understanding of the challenges facing the state, coupled with his ability to mobilize resources for transformation, makes him the best choice to take Anambra to greater heights”, he noted.

He emphasized that Anambra State has suffered from years of failed leadership, lack of infrastructure, economic stagnation, and poor governance, and that the people are yearning for change.

“We, the Anambra Labour Party Stakeholders, strongly mandate the Labour Party to make Senator Tony Nwoye the consensus candidate for the 2025 governorship election.

“The party must recognize that the collective interest of Ndi Anambra supersedes all individual ambitions, and the only way to secure victory and deliver real change is by uniting behind the most capable and popular candidate.” The stakeholders said.

The stakeholders called on all members of the Labour Party, party executives, and supporters to put aside differences and rally behind Tony Nwoye.

“This is a defining moment for Anambra State—one that will determine whether we continue on the path of stagnation or embrace a new era of progress and development. The time for action is now. Anambra cannot afford to miss this opportunity. It is now or never!” He said.
