Cubana Chief Priest’s Alleged Baby Mama Opens Up on DNA Test Plea
ESTHER SALIFU, Abuja

The ongoing paternity dispute between Nigerian socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, and Kenyan woman Hellen Ati has intensified, with Ati sharing emotional accounts of her appeals for a DNA test to confirm paternity and to acknowledge their alleged child.
Hellen Ati has publicly recounted her efforts to have Cubana Chief Priest recognize their purported son, including her pleas for a DNA test to confirm paternity.
In a heartfelt video, shared on social media ,Ati expressed her frustrations over raising the child alone, stating,
“I cannot take care of this child alone. You are lying to yourself. It cannot happen. Over my dead body. You must take care of this child.”
The controversy began in 2023 when Ati alleged that a brief encounter with Cubana Chief Priest in April 2022 led to her pregnancy. She claimed that after informing him of the child, he blocked her on all communication channels, leaving her to fend for herself and the baby.
Despite her repeated calls for a DNA test, Cubana Chief Priest has denied fathering the child, asserting that he never met Ati. In response to the ongoing allegations, he filed a defamation lawsuit against her in Kenya.
Ati has also made public appeals to prominent figures, including Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, urging them to intervene and compel Cubana Chief Priest to take responsibility. “Please @he_hopeuzodimma of Imo State, I need your help. Talk to Pascal Okechukwu a.k.a. Cubana Chief Priest to please help his son in Kenya and for the DNA to be done,” she pleaded.
