ESTHER SALIFU, Abuja

Veteran Yoruba actor Fatai Odua, popularly known as Lalude, has publicly expressed his disappointment with the All Progressives Congress (APC) and key party figures, including MC Oluomo, over what he describes as neglect following his support during the 2023 elections.
In an exclusive interview circulating on social media, Lalude voiced his frustration, stating, “If I curse them, e go follow them for life!” He emphasized that he campaigned for President Bola Tinubu and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu with his “sweat and reputation,” yet feels abandoned post-election.
Lalude’s remarks have sparked discussions online, with many fans and colleagues expressing solidarity and calling for better treatment of artists who engage in political campaigns.
As of now, there has been no official response from the APC or MC Oluomo regarding Lalude’s statements.
