•Unveils Vision for Nigeria’s Content Creators

The Bloggers and Vloggers, Content Creators Association (BAVCCA) has ushered in a new era of leadership following its 2025 National Elections held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, from August 22 to 24.

Over 2,000 delegates from across Nigeria participated in a seamless and transparent election process, blending physical and online voting, to elect Mr. Ikechukwu Chukwunyere as the new President.

Chukwunyere clinched victory in a fiercely contested race against Mr. Adedotun Fasanya, marking a significant milestone for the association representing over 5,000 professional digital creators.

In a show of unity, Fasanya graciously conceded, stating, “I congratulate Mr. Chukwunyere on his well-deserved victory. Let us unite and work together to elevate BAVCCA and empower our creators nationwide.”

In his acceptance speech, President-elect Chukwunyere outlined an ambitious five-point agenda to transform BAVCCA into a powerhouse for Nigeria’s digital content creators.

His priorities include sustainable welfare programs, enhanced digital skills training, policy advocacy, global partnerships, and the creation of a BAVCCA digital innovation hub.

“Our vision is to empower every creator, amplify their voices, and position Nigeria as a global leader in digital content creation,” Chukwunyere declared. “This administration will be inclusive, innovative, and focused on leaving a lasting legacy.”

Chairman of the BAVCCA 2025 Convention, Dr. Josephine Dung, praised the peaceful and transparent process, noting, “This election reflects the strength and unity of our association. We are confident that Mr. Chukwunyere’s leadership will take BAVCCA to new heights.”

The elections not only showcased BAVCCA’s commitment to democratic values but also highlighted the growing influence of Nigeria’s content creation industry. With Chukwunyere at the helm, the association is poised to drive innovation, advocacy, and global opportunities for its members.
