Elumelu Campaign Council Begins Consultations With Party Executives, Leaders Ahead of 2027

The campaign council of Ndudi Godwin Elumelu has announced plans to begin a series of consultations with party executives and political leaders across four local government areas as part of preparations for the 2027 electoral cycle.
In a notice issued by the Secretary of the council, Chike Ifesiokwu, the Ndudi Godwin Elumelu (NGE) Campaign Council said the engagement is aimed at strengthening grassroots synergy and consolidating support ahead of the next elections.
According to the council, the consultations will take place in two phases and will involve interactions with party executive members and influential leaders in Aniocha North Local Government Area, Aniocha South Local Government Area, Oshimili North Local Government Area and Oshimili South Local Government Area.
The first phase of the engagement will focus on meetings with party executive members to ensure alignment within the party structure and to strengthen the internal framework of the campaign.
The council said the sessions with party executives will begin on March 10 in Aniocha North at 11 a.m., followed by Aniocha South on March 11 at the same time. The consultations will continue in Oshimili North on March 12 at noon and conclude in Oshimili South on March 13 at 11 a.m.
Following the internal consultations, the campaign council will commence the second phase of the engagement, which will involve meetings with political leaders across the four local government areas.
The interactions with leaders are scheduled to begin on March 17 in Aniocha North at 11 a.m., followed by Aniocha South on March 18 at the same time. Oshimili North will host the meeting on March 19 at noon, while the final engagement will take place in Oshimili South on March 20 at 11 a.m.
Ifesiokwu said the consultations are designed to promote unity and foster stronger collaboration among party stakeholders.
He noted that the interactions would help build a transparent and inclusive movement capable of mobilising support and strengthening the campaign structure ahead of the political season.
The council also urged all stakeholders expected at the meetings to be punctual, stressing that the consultations are part of efforts to establish a robust framework for the coming electoral cycle.
