Meta Offers $3,000 Monthly to Attract TikTok, YouTube Creators to Facebook

Meta Platforms has unveiled a new initiative aimed at luring content creators from rival platforms such as TikTok and YouTube, offering monthly payments of up to $3,000 to boost activity on Facebook.
The programme, known as “Creator Fast Track,” was announced in a blog post on Wednesday as part of Meta’s broader push to strengthen its position in the rapidly growing creator economy.
According to the company, the initiative is designed to help established creators expand their reach on Facebook while providing guaranteed earnings for a limited period.
“We’re launching Creator Fast Track, a new program designed to help creators accelerate their growth and success on Facebook with guaranteed pay and increased content reach,” Meta said.
Under the scheme, creators who meet eligibility requirements will benefit from increased visibility, particularly for short-form video content such as reels, enabling them to grow their audiences more quickly.
Meta disclosed that participants will receive guaranteed monthly payments for three months, with earnings tied to their existing follower base on other platforms. Creators with at least 100,000 followers may earn up to $1,000 monthly, while those with over one million followers could receive as much as $3,000 per month.
Beyond the fixed payments, the company said creators would gain immediate access to Facebook’s content monetisation tools, allowing them to continue earning from their content even after the programme ends.
The move underscores Meta’s aggressive investment in digital content creators. The company revealed that it paid nearly $3 billion to creators in 2025—its highest annual payout—marking a 35 per cent increase from the previous year.
A significant portion of those earnings came from short-form videos, with reels accounting for about 60 per cent of payouts, while the rest was generated from other formats including photos, stories and text posts.
To improve transparency, Meta also announced new performance metrics to help creators better track and optimise their earnings. These include “qualified views,” which determine monetisation eligibility, and “earnings rate,” which estimates revenue per 1,000 views.
The programme is currently invite-only, although interested creators can signal their participation through the professional dashboard on the Facebook app.
Industry observers say the initiative signals intensifying competition among social media platforms for top creators, as companies continue to invest heavily in content-driven growth strategies.
