APC Felicitates Nigerians at Easter, Calls for Unity

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians and Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora, urging citizens to embrace unity, peace, and love.
In a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday, the ruling party described Easter as a significant period that commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ, symbolising the triumph of life over death and light over darkness.
It noted that the season reflects God’s boundless love, mercy, forgiveness, and the promise of renewal.
The APC called on Nigerians to use the occasion to strengthen national unity and foster tolerance, stressing the importance of working together towards a more prosperous and cohesive nation.
The party also urged political, religious, and community leaders to reflect on their responsibilities and recommit themselves to promoting peace, harmony, and the overall well-being of citizens.
According to the statement, prayers remain vital for the country’s progress, with the party expressing hope that the risen Christ would grant leaders and citizens the strength and wisdom needed to overcome current challenges and build a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.
The APC further wished Christians and all Nigerians a joyful Easter celebration filled with hope and divine blessings.
