NDC Announces Nomination Fees for 2027 Congresses

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has released the schedule of fees for nomination forms ahead of its planned nationwide party congresses.

In a statement shared on its verified X handle on Wednesday, the party said the congresses would be conducted across the country, covering positions from the ward level up to the national leadership.

“The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) hereby announces the official cost of nomination forms for its upcoming party congresses at all levels, from Ward to National,” the statement read.

The party noted that nomination forms for Polling Unit and Community Working Committees would be issued at no cost, describing the move as part of efforts to encourage broader grassroots participation.

It added that fees for other positions would vary depending on the level, with forms priced from N20,000 for ward offices to as high as N1,000,000 for positions in the National Working Committee.

According to the statement, interested members can obtain the forms at the party’s national secretariat, while payments are to be made into a designated bank account provided by the party.

The announcement comes as political parties begin internal processes ahead of the 2027 general elections.
