TMG Sets June NEC Meeting in Port Harcourt

The Tinubu Mega Group (TMG) has announced plans to hold its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, as part of efforts to review its nationwide activities and strengthen grassroots mobilisation structures across the country.
The meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 22, 2026, at the Golden Tulip Port Harcourt Hotel and is expected to draw senior representatives of the organisation from across Nigeria and the diaspora.
In a statement issued on Thursday by its National Spokesperson, Tijani Danjuma, the group described the gathering as a strategic engagement aimed at consolidating internal structures and aligning future activities with national priorities.
According to him, the NEC meeting will bring together leaders from all 36 states, the Federal Capital Territory, the six geopolitical zones, as well as representatives of TMG chapters in the United States, United Kingdom, China and Europe.
Danjuma said the meeting comes at a critical period in Nigeria’s democratic and developmental journey, noting that it will provide an opportunity to assess the organisation’s performance and chart a direction for the months ahead.
He explained that the Council will review reports from recently concluded zonal tours across the country, with a focus on strengthening state structures and expanding membership at the grassroots level.
The NEC is also expected to adopt a nationwide engagement strategy designed to deepen support for the Renewed Hope Agenda across communities and demographic groups.
Part of the agenda includes plans for international town hall meetings scheduled to hold in the United Kingdom, United States, Asia and Europe. The sessions, according to the group, will provide a platform for dialogue with Nigerians in the diaspora, as well as opportunities to highlight policy directions and attract investment interests.
The meetings will also serve as a feedback mechanism for ongoing reforms in areas such as the economy, infrastructure, security, youth empowerment and social intervention programmes.
Danjuma said the initiative is intended to ensure that citizens’ perspectives are captured in the group’s policy advocacy and engagement efforts.
A major highlight of the NEC meeting will be the presentation of the Grand Commander of the Tinubu Mega Group Award to the organisation’s leader, Dr Azonabor Osade Eronmose.
The group described Dr Eronmose as an accomplished entrepreneur with interests in shipping, oil and gas services, lifestyle medicine and preventive healthcare.
The award, according to TMG, recognises his contributions to enterprise development, job creation, healthcare advocacy, philanthropy and broader national development efforts.
The Tinubu Mega Group reaffirmed its commitment to national unity, grassroots mobilisation and continued support for policies and programmes it says are geared towards national development.
