APC Urges Nigerians to Embrace Love at Christmas

JOEL OLADELE, Abuja

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on Nigerians to embrace love, compassion and unity as they celebrate Christmas, urging citizens to draw inspiration from the values symbolised by the birth of Jesus Christ.

In a Christmas message signed on by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC felicitated with Nigerians, particularly Christian faithful, describing the season as one of joy, sacrifice and renewed hope.

The party said Christmas, which marks the birth of Jesus Christ, represents God’s infinite love and the triumph of hope over despair, calling on Nigerians to imbibe the virtues of peace, unity, sacrifice and shared responsibility.

According to the APC, the season offers an opportunity for citizens to recommit to building a more just, united and peaceful nation, while renewing hope for national progress.

The party expressed optimism that the spirit of Christmas would strengthen the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in its efforts to address the country’s challenges and improve the living conditions of Nigerians.

It prayed that the joy and love associated with the season would fill homes across the country and extend into the new year.

“Merry Christmas, Nigerians,” Morka stated.
