We Await US Green Light to ‘Return Iran To Stone Age’ — Israel

Israel’s Defence Minister, Israel Katz, has said the country is prepared to resume hostilities against Iran, declaring that military plans are in place but subject to approval from the United States.
Katz, in a video statement on Thursday, said Israeli forces are on standby for both defensive and offensive operations, with potential targets already identified.
“The IDF is ready both defensively and offensively, and the targets have been marked,” he stated.
He added that Israel is waiting for a signal from Washington before taking further action, including strikes aimed at crippling Iran’s strategic infrastructure.
“We are awaiting a green light from the United States; first and foremost to complete the elimination of the Khamenei dynasty… and additionally to return Iran to the Dark Age and the Stone Age by destroying key energy and electricity facilities and dismantling its national economic infrastructure,” Katz said.
The remarks come amid lingering tensions following the outbreak of hostilities earlier in the year, which have continued to reverberate across the Middle East.
The initial wave of attacks, launched jointly by the United States and Israel in late February, reportedly led to the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.
His succession by his son has been followed by uncertainty, with limited public appearances fuelling speculation over the leadership situation in Tehran.
Katz warned that any renewed military campaign would be more intense than previous operations, targeting what he described as critical pressure points within Iran’s system.
“This time, when the attack resumes, it will be different and lethal… that will shake and bring down its foundations,” he said.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump has announced an indefinite extension of the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, which took effect on April 8, to allow room for diplomatic engagement.
However, proposed negotiations expected to take place in Pakistan remain uncertain, raising questions about the prospects for de-escalation.
The conflict has already had far-reaching consequences across the region, with thousands reported dead, particularly in Iran and Lebanon, and growing concerns over its impact on global economic stability.
