Folorunsho Alakija and husband’s marriage reportedly hits the rock after 30 years
Folorunsho Alakija, Nigeria’s richest woman, and her husband Modupe Alakija, who have been married for nearly 30 years, have allegedly split up.
According to a story by The Will, the rich business woman’s marriage presented substantial obstacles.
Despite having four children, the couple is no longer staying together in their luxurious marital house in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The duo allegedly had regular disagreements, forcing Folorunsho to desire seclusion at her home. This choice forced her spouse to seek alternative accommodations nearby.
According to people acquainted with the matter, despite their public front, the couple’s relationship has been strained for several years, and they have maintained a unified front solely because of their public prominence.
