Arsenal Wonderkid Dowman Becomes Youngest Premier League Goalscorer

Max Dowman also known as Arsenal Wonderkid, etched his name into English football history after becoming the youngest player ever to score in the Premier League.

The 16-year-old Arsenal midfielder achieved the feat during his side’s 2–0 victory over Everton F.C. on Saturday, finding the net deep into stoppage time after coming on as a substitute midway through the second half.

Dowman was aged just 16 years and 73 days when he struck the decisive goal, sealing the win for Arsenal F.C. and rewriting a long-standing league record.

The previous milestone had been held for more than two decades by James Vaughan, who scored for Everton in 2005 at the age of 16 years and 270 days.

Dowman’s late strike not only wrapped up the result for Arsenal but also marked a significant moment in the history of the English top flight, placing the teenage midfielder among the league’s record breakers at an unusually young age.
