Tinubu Hails APC Spokesman Morka at Birthday, Praises His Communication Prowess

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Felix Morka, on the occasion of his birthday, commending his contributions to the party and national discourse.

In a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President joined members of the party’s National Executive Council (NEC), National Working Committee (NWC), and the wider APC family in celebrating Morka as he marks another year.

The President acknowledged Morka’s professional background, noting his transition from civil society activism into partisan politics, where he has deployed his expertise in communication to strengthen the ruling party’s engagement with the public.

He described the APC spokesman as a seasoned human rights advocate who “worked extensively with civil society organisations before venturing into politics, bringing his vast experience in strategic communication to properly interpret and explain the party’s manifesto.”

President Tinubu further lauded Morka’s role in bridging the gap between the party and citizens, attributing part of the APC’s expanding membership base to his communication strategy and outreach.

“Morka has continued to build understanding between the governing party and citizens, contributing to the exponential growth in membership,” the statement read.

The President also highlighted Morka’s leadership qualities, particularly his ability to manage both internal and external communications of the party with tact and clarity.

He commended him “for the maturity and wisdom he brings to the position, and for ensuring effective internal and external communications.”

Morka, who also serves as Chairman of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), was further wished continued good health and prosperity by the President.

Tinubu concluded by offering prayers for the well-being of the APC spokesman and his family as he celebrates his birthday.
