The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has opened its portal for candidates seeking to change their institutions or courses after sitting for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

The examination body disclosed that the process is now active, allowing affected candidates to begin making adjustments to their admission preferences through accredited Computer-Based Test centres nationwide.

In a statement issued by JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the board directed candidates interested in effecting changes to visit approved CBT centres to complete the process.

“Candidates wishing to change their institution or programme of choice may now proceed to do so visiting any of the Board’s approved CBT centres,” the statement said.

The development comes as many candidates reassess their admission prospects following the release of the 2026 UTME results.

JAMB also announced that candidates would be able to print their original UTME result slips beginning from Monday, May 18, 2026.

“Furthermore, the printing of the original 2026 UTME result slip will commence on Monday, 18th May, 2026,” Benjamin added.

The original result slip is one of the key documents required during admission screening and clearance exercises by tertiary institutions across the country.

Candidates are expected to obtain the document through official channels approved by the examination body.
