The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Electronic Media, Office of the First Lady, Janet Ovayoza Samuel, has congratulated the Kogi State Auditor-General for Local Government, Hon. Yakubu Siyaka Adabenege, on his emergence as Chairman of the Conference of Auditors-General of Local Government in Nigeria.

Samuel, in a personally signed congratulatory message, described Adabenege’s emergence at the 30th Conference of the body, held in Lokoja, as a significant national achievement and a moment of pride for Kogi State and Okehi Local Government Area.

She said the new position reflects the confidence reposed in Adabenege by his colleagues across the country, adding that his elevation is a recognition of his competence, dedication, leadership qualities and commitment to public service.

The Senior Special Assistant also congratulated Adabenege on the successful hosting and completion of the 30th Conference in Kogi State, noting that the successful event, coupled with his emergence as Chairman, has further projected the state positively at the national level.

According to her, Adabenege’s achievement is particularly significant to Okehi Local Government, describing him as one of its illustrious sons whose accomplishments have continued to bring pride to the area.

She noted that his emergence into a national leadership position would also serve as an encouragement to young people in Kogi State, particularly those who aspire to make meaningful contributions to public service.

“As my leader and brother, I celebrate not only your new position but also the journey of service, commitment and excellence that has brought you to this point,” Samuel said.

She expressed confidence that Adabenege would bring his experience, wisdom and administrative capacity to bear on his new assignment, particularly in strengthening transparency, accountability and professionalism in local government auditing across the country.

Samuel prayed for divine wisdom and guidance for the new Chairman, while wishing him a successful tenure and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.

She described the achievement as “a proud moment for Kogi State and Okehi Local Government,” and congratulated Adabenege on what she described as a well-deserved national recognition.
