APC Celebrates Oluremi Tinubu at 66, Hails Public Service

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated First Lady Oluremi Tinubu on her 66th birthday, praising her contributions to public service and humanitarian work.

In a statement signed on Tuesday by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the party described the First Lady as a strong supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and a leader committed to supporting vulnerable Nigerians.

The APC said Mrs Tinubu had remained a source of support to the President from his years in the pro-democracy movement through his presidency.

The party also highlighted her years in public office, including her tenure as First Lady of Lagos State and her time in the Nigerian Senate.

According to the APC, those roles reflected her commitment to public service and national development.

“Her lifelong dedication to public service is a testament to her grace, vision, patriotism and unwavering commitment to the Nigerian people,” the party said.

The APC also cited the New Era Foundation and the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) as key platforms through which the First Lady has pursued humanitarian programmes.

It said the initiatives had focused on vulnerable groups while supporting women and youths and promoting activities in education, agriculture, healthcare and social welfare.

The party said her humanitarian efforts had made her contribution to national development more visible, particularly through programmes targeting vulnerable sections of society.

It described her as a “compassionate mother of the nation” and a devoted wife who had continued to support the President in the demands of public service.

The APC also acknowledged the personal sacrifices associated with her years in public life and her continued support for her family.

“Her selfless sacrifices, enduring support and unwavering belief in her husband’s vision reflect the profound impact of a woman who has stood faithfully beside her family,” the party said.

The party prayed for many more years of good health, wisdom, strength and happiness for the First Lady as she continues her public and humanitarian activities.

It also joined her family, political associates and well-wishers in celebrating the milestone.

“Happy Birthday, Your Excellency!” the APC said.
