Tonto Dikeh Performs Deliverance During Evangelism Outreach

Popular Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has claimed that a schoolgirl was delivered from what she described as a spiritual attack after prayers were offered during an evangelism outreach organised by her team.
The actress shared the account on Friday via her Instagram page, narrating an incident she said occurred shortly after she and members of her evangelism team concluded a programme at a school.
According to her, the situation unfolded as they were leaving the school premises when she sensed what she described as a “spirit of death” around the environment.
She said the team immediately began praying.
Dikeh further explained that within minutes of the prayers, a young student approached her requesting spiritual help.
The girl, she said, disclosed that she had repeatedly been seeing bats appearing around her, which prompted her friends to encourage her to seek prayers.
“We began to pray and the Holy Spirit took over. The presence and glory of God filled that moment. The spirit of death was confronted, the demonic attack was broken, and God’s power brought deliverance,” the actress wrote.
She added that the student had earlier participated in the evangelism exercise and accepted the Christian faith during the outreach, describing the encounter as timely.
Dikeh also stated that she and members of her team plan to continue monitoring the girl as part of follow-up support after the outreach programme.
Reflecting on the experience, the actress said the incident reinforced her belief in the spiritual calling she believes has been placed on her life.
“Today, God allowed me to see a glimpse of the ministry He has placed upon my life,” she wrote, adding that she sees herself as an instrument through which others can receive spiritual help.
She also disclosed that more than 100 students reportedly gave their lives to Christ during the evangelism event.
The film star used the opportunity to appreciate her spiritual mentors and members of her team for their support during the outreach, noting that the group intends to continue its evangelism activities.
