Tolu Bankole Celebrates Christians on Easter, Preaches Love, Sacrifice
JOEL OLADELE, Abuja

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC) Member and National Leader of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs), Aare Tolu Bankole, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians across Nigeria and beyond.
This was contained in a statement personally signed on Friday, by the APC bigwig, emphasizing the themes of love, sacrifice and hope.
Reflecting on the significance of Easter, Bankole quoted the biblical passage from Luke 24:6-7:, “He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’”
He noted that this sacred occasion symbolizes Christ’s victory over death and serves as a powerful reminder of the potential for renewal and the importance of unwavering faith in God’s promises.
“This season calls us to embrace the values of love, compassion, and selflessness. In the spirit of Easter, I urge all Nigerians to reflect on our shared humanity, to live peacefully with one another, and to commit ourselves to building a more united and prosperous nation,” Bankole admonished.
According to him, this year’s Easter comes at a time when the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR is making significant strides toward repositioning our economy and improving the lives of ordinary Nigerians.
He added that; “Through deliberate, people-centered policies—including targeted interventions in agriculture, MSMEs, infrastructure, education, and social investment programmes—the APC-led government is laying a sustainable foundation for inclusive growth and long-term prosperity for all.”
He also used the occasion to reaffirm his unwavering support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda as a member of the APC’s National Working Committee. “We are confident that the fruits of these efforts will soon manifest in improved living standards and opportunities for all Nigerians.
“May this Easter bring peace to our hearts, unity to our nation, and renewed hope for a greater Nigeria.”
