APC Celebrates First Lady Remi Tinubu at 65
JOEL OLADELE, Abuja

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended warm felicitations to Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on the occasion of her 65th birthday.
In a statement signed on Sunday by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the ruling party described the First Lady as a “steadfast pillar of support” to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu throughout his decades-long journey in public service.
“From Mr. President’s days as a pro-democracy activist, as Governor of Lagos State, and now as President, the First Lady has remained an inestimable treasure of support and dependable ally, for which our nation is thankful,” the party said.
The APC praised Mrs. Tinubu’s contributions beyond her role as wife and mother, highlighting her work as a philanthropist, politician and advocate for women, youths and vulnerable Nigerians.
According to the party, her initiatives, including the Renewed Hope Initiative and New Era Foundation have provided scholarships, healthcare support, empowerment programmes, and welfare services for senior citizens, widows and the less privileged.
The APC further lauded her as “a devoted Christian, shrewd public servant, philanthropist and astute politician” whose projects have touched countless lives across the country.
The statement added that APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, members of the National Working Committee, and millions of party faithful joined the Tinubu family in celebrating the milestone.
“We pray God to grant her excellent health, strength, grace and wisdom in her continued devoted service to family, country and humanity. Congratulations, Your Excellency!” the party said.
